Classes

We offer business oriented programs, language instruction, writing instruction, and of course, martial arts instruction. We start by evaluating the business needs, improvement goals, and current level of expertise. Then, we recommend a course of study designed specifically to fit the situation and skill level of the participants. We work hard to ensure each student not only knows the material, but also knows how to use and improve the targeted skill sets.

Business Classes

Our business classes provide an introduction to international business, business plan development and business process analysis techniques. Planning a trip to China for the first time? Our travel preparation class combines language skills with relevant history and modern situations. Interested in international business expansion opportunities? Are you sure you understand the impact on your domestic operations? We can guide you through the issues, develop an operations plan, and help your staff deal with the cultural changes.

Design Classes

What are the elements that make up a web site? What makes a good web site? We offer several classes to help you define the requirements and build a site that meets your needs. Want to add a shopping cart of full ecommerce functionality? Need help with the interface for your new software system? Our classes can help you develop the skills you need to create the best solution for your business.

Writing Classes

Good writing is not making sure that your grammar and spelling are correct. While these are important, good writing requires much more than correct grammar to make the information accessible to the reader. Our classes focus on technical writing, business presentations, and helping you develop good writing skills. We include structured writing methods to help you create clear maps to your information and address the special writing techniques used for help system authoring.

Language Classes

The ability to speak a few words in the other person's language can be critical. Just being able to say "hello, goodbye, yes, no, thank you, and you're welcome" can go a very long way towards warming relationships. Unless you are the interpreter, having an extensive vocabulary and near-perfect pronunciation is really not necessary. As few as 100-150 words are enough to manage most situations. We also offer speech coaching for presenters.

Chinese Martial Arts Classes

The founding purpose of the Wudang Research Association was to publish materials, promote research, and teach classes on the subject of traditional Wudang Martial Arts. Our work includes research into the medical benefits of martial arts practice as well as efforts to document traditional forms and translate materials from the original Chinese into English. Our classes include a full range of traditional practices and arts.
