Design Services

Designing an effective solution takes more than a good graphic artist or programming talent. What happens when that catchy marketing phrase becomes cliche? Or when the updates you needed yesterday aren't scheduled until next month? Maybe you only need a few pages of brochureware. Or, maybe you need a complex database. We can design an elegant solution for you that won't require a major initiative just to manage a page change or reporting update.

Integrated Media Sets

Need an updated brochure or some data sheets to send to prospective clients? We can create a fully-integrated media set (print, online, electronic) for you.

Presentations

Like to have a CD with a software demo and presentation to hand out at the next trade show? We can create a fully automated demo disk with audio and animation in your choice of languages.

Single Source

Want to collect all your information in one place but need to distribute it in different formats? Tired of making the same changes to 15 files, just to keep the content up to date? We can help you design a single source solution.

Web Sites

Need a simple online brochure or a complex interactive site? Like to have a solution that almost updates itself? We can design one for you.

Multi-Language Web Sites

Have customers or employees in China? We can design an intranet or internet solution to help you communicate effectively. We have over 10 years experience working with the CJK and extended ASCII character sets.

Technical Publications

Want to spend weeks updating your manuals every time you have a new software release? Probably not. We can design publications that need minimal updates while providing maximum product details.

User Interfaces

Writing a new application for a client or your own company? We can help your engineers develop a user interface that people can actually use and that needs very little documentation.

Globalization vs. Localization

With the development of the internet, global communications have become the norm. Companies would like their customers (and employees) to be able to find information in their language of choice. This presents many challenges for systems developers, content managers, and information designers.

One of the first decisions is how to address the language and presentation issues.

With a globalization strategy, the information will be translated and presented with the same basic look-and-feel in all the target languages. With a localization strategy, the core information will be maintained across languages, but the specifics as well as the graphics and other visual elements (look-and-feel) will depend entirely on the target location.
